Canon Personality:

🥀 Anastasia is, to put it simply, a hot mess. Violent, impulsive and living solely for spite, she's a disaster in motion with no intention of stopping. Morality is a suggestion and one she doesn't consider often, and violence is always the answer - preferring to resolve disputes with blood rather than words. Luckily the targets of any violent outbursts are towards those that can fight back, seeing little worth in messing with those she considers weak. But even they aren't spared from her saying whatever is on her mind, no matter how cruel or biting it might be.

🥀 Content to follow her own whims, and is only likely to listen to those she sees value in. She's hardworking and driven, but usually that means she's solely focused on her own goals without any care of what others want. Another downside is that she rarely thinks thing through; her emotions tend to overrule any logical decisions, and she's very much driven by them. If there's consequences? Oh well! She has the capability to be intelligent and cunning, but just can't be bothered the majority of the time.

🥀 Anastasia is at least capable of being friendly, and she has a cheerful and outgoing personality so she finds it easy to speak to others. And when she does become close to others, she's deeply affectionate and loyal, doing anything she can to make them happy. They mean the world to her, even if she might still be a bit of an ass to them sometimes - but it's at least affectionate teasing. She especially has a soft spot towards those who are in similar circumstances, and is actually surprisingly domestic at times.

🥀 Under all that is a very broken woman who struggles with a variety of trauma, suffering with her identity as both an abomination and an experiment, something meant to be a vessel and nothing more, on top of her growing desperation to save her siblings from fates worse than death. Her hold on her own humanity is fragile, and she lives only to kill her father and god, with no cares about what happens to her in the process - it doesn't matter if her life burns out in the end, so long as she can finally achieve her goal.

🥀 Born to a Krusnik researcher known as Dumah, Ana's early life went as well as could be expected - her mother was never a figure in her life, and Ana has her hunches that she was disposed of. Due to her upbringing, she came to few all the tests and experiments of Krusnik as "normal" and had issues viewing life in any other way.

🥀 As one of the eldest in the facility, one of her jobs was to look after younger kids that were brought in. Through them she showed glimpses of her actual personality, and became very attached to them; over time, she started to view them as her younger siblings and would at times bend the rules for them. Unfortunately, this still wasn't enough to stop her from being moulded into a loyal agent of Krusnik, especially after she started to show "divine" traits.

🥀 Then The Raid happened while Ana was away on a mission, and when she returned to find the kids dead, one of the survivors pointed to Abel being culprit (she didn't give two shits about the other agents though whoops). When she tracked him to Kaisou and saw him... crying over a donut, with one of the kids she looked after laughing and smiling, it was enough to basically prompt a breakthrough. Realising just how horrific the... everything she and the kids she went through was, she decided to leave the city and try to track down her old man. Just to talk. Yeah.

🥀 Though with a lack of skills to really get normal employment, she found work as a sellsword with a mercenary crew. This was soon disbanded, and Ana hoped from place to place where she could - avoiding the Black Order trying to seek her out because one cult was enough thanks. During her travels, she learned of others destroying remaining cells of Krusnik though still no new information about her father.

🥀 News of the Black Order rebellion has her coming back to Kaisou though, concerned about the Krusnik kids there now that there's a massive power vacuum. Totally not realising that they took part in it.

AU Personality Differences: A bit less aggro towards gods, however she still doesn't have the best opinion of them considering Krusnik's aspirations and the expectations forced on her. Will probably still try to fight them.

While she has a lot of guilt over her involvement in Krusnik, the fact that some of the kids lived and are managing to lead normal(ish) lives lessens a lot of her anxiety. They're safe and strong, so she has no massive inclination to go on revenge rampages... Except against Dumah. Fuck that guy.
